Tamer Said is a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Education,
University of Cambridge,
where he researches cognitive science theories to understand students’ cognitive and emotional development in the context of science education. Prior to that, he has pursued a Master’s in Education in Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) Program from Harvard Graduate School education.
Said has also received an MA in International & Comparative Education, and MSc. in Biotechnology, both from the American University in Cairo (AUC), which provided him with both a deep content knowledge in the biological sciences and a better understanding of the sociological foundations of education and the global challenges that face education respectively.
In higher education, Said co-founded the Teaching Effectiveness Unit at Zewail University for Science & Technology, where he designed and delivered a comprehensive training course for faculty members and coached.
